Bulldogs, Pugs and Frenchies snore and that can be a serious medical problem. Short nosed dogs are called "brachycephalics" which literally means "short head". Many of them suffer from Brachycephalic Syndrome, which includes stenotic nares (nostrils which are too small to breathe through), elongated soft palate (which can physically block the opening to the windpipe), and more. These problems can be corrected by surgery, usually at the time of spay/neuter. Severe cases left untreated can develop life-threatening laryngeal collapse. We can help your dog breathe better!
